My wife and I just found your vlog and I must say we are very much wanting to make the move to rural Thailand. My wife is Thai and from the Northern district although she has lived with me for 9 years here in the US. We live in California and your vlog has really encouraged us to take stock of our quality of life and what we will leave for our children. I want to say more but we are still talking through our options. Im excited to watch your older videos and see the whole process over the past 3-4 years.

I think the floor compliments the earth tones along with the wood in the room perfectly! The extra clear roofed area out front is great during the rainy season when you want to be outside and stay dry. Overall, everything is beautifully done. 👏

My husband and I have been to Thailand 4 times and we’re coming back next year again, I’m 73 years old but still love travelling to The Land of Smiles. 😊

Hi Mo and Ryan Regarding to a style of living you asked in middle of the video. Well, I was a city girl who lived in Bkk for years, but I wouldn’t go back to that life style anymore since I found my real journey here in the rural land. It’s so good to see what you guys are doing there in your beautiful property. My husband and I are doing similar things, but in Australia. We live completely off grid, and have a sustainable life style of living. It’s amazing, but it’s not rosy all the time. We’re still building our house. We have got a few animals. It’s hard work though especially with PIGS, but we keep learning everyday from this journey. Living in a property always gives you other perspectives in life, you will always need more different skills to do different things, so to appreciate or be grateful each other between husband and wife is one of the most beautiful thing. You have such a beautiful family! Very happy for you. Enjoy your journey guys! 😊 Cheers!

Hi Ryan and Damo, I love what you've created here. Ryan, have you ever been to Spain or Mexico? Your colour scheme for all three buildings looks like it could have come from one of those countries. I just wonder if the white walls get dirty easily, particularly lower down 🤔 The Wallpaper on the wall behind the bed is fantastic. I think the idea of the room being darker is good for the type of climate.

I was the one who said it looked like a dungeon and I am glad to say I take that back, is very nice. The colors and floor tiles do make it look like a Mediterranean villa. What did you builders use on the wood on your desk? It looks great and I'm about to refinish a small recycled wood table.
